A ARTE DE VADIAR

“Vadiar” is an ancestral concept and the great goal in Capoeira circles since long time ago. The capoeirista is an artist who expresses his identity in the Capoeira rodas.
In this workshop, Mestre Jorge Itapuã Beiramar invites the musician, actress, clown and capoeirista Laura Becker, together with Pé de Vento and Fominha, our hosts, to emphasize the fundamental principles of “vadiar“.
The whole workshop will reflect on the act of building and playing in a Roda de Capoeira.
Cooperativity among the participants, harmony expressed in the music, game strategy, creativity, corporal expression and learning to fall, will be the main aspects approached, understanding the concept that every capoeirista is always in search of the perfect roda.
